The Bend Nordic Team had 16 athletes training and racing in West Yellowstone, Montana last week. Skiers from Helena, Montana State University, Whitman College and Spokane Jr. Nordic joined our team for training sessions. Dakota Blackhorse von Jess and Isabel Smith had a solid start to their race season in the Sprint- a 1.7km qualifier only event. Isabel also raced the 10km skate on Friday. On Saturday Reitler Hodgert, Dakota BVJ, Darragh Hildreth, and Allie Phillips jumped into the classic race. Results are posted here: http://www.summittiming.com/races/
